2007 Wine Festival an Event to Remember…

Regardless of a rainstorm that drenched the area, more than 500 people attended the First Annual Pensacola Wine Festival. With the last minute help of Escambia County, the event’s presenters were able to put on an event that was not only a great success- but unique and memorable.

With a first year’s success featuring more than 100 wines, cooking demonstrations by the executive chefs of Atlas Oyster House, eat!, the Fish House, the Global Grill, and Jackson’s, and music from local jazz combos- interest in the 2008 event is already shaping it be another milestone for downtown. Thank you, again, to the 2007 organizers, wine distributors, chefs, and sponsors.
